Monitors-

Something to keep in mind when comparing LCD monitors and CRTs is the usable screen size. A year and a half ago I bought a 15 inch Advan LCD for $950+. It measures exactly 15 inches diagonally and is usable right out to the edge. It replaced a nominal 17 inch CRT that measures 15.5 inches in the same dimension.

A 15 inch LCD is much more expensive than a 15 inch CRT. It is probably still more expensive than a 17 inch CRT but that is actually the more comparable screen.

My screen is readable to 45+ degrees off center without image deterioration. My brother and I bought several at the time for ourselves and different family members and we all notice less eye fatigue. Don't know what the implications are for G&K investing but it has allowed me to spend the hours necessary reading all the posts on this thread.
