mark, Welcome to the thread but, you might be too sensible for some to take. The only thing I want to say about the death penalty in Texas, is that life without possibility of parole, is not an option in this state. I would favor a constitutional amendment to change that, but we are stuck with what we have, until changes are made. BTW, most of the prisoners executed during Bush's stint as Governor, were sentenced before he was elected to the office. ~;=;o --haqi
