I'm not saying it's future is secure. It isn't. It's quite fragile. But this is what the Gardners call an "open situation." The company may well be entering the groove of a tremendous growth period. It has the capacity to produce blowout earnings. The best comparison would be Qualcomm -- very possibly vulnerable, but also possibly a 10 bagger in the next year.

If you're going to short it, set yourself a firm, fixed quitting price, and quit when it gets there. Or hedge. Don't just leave this short on the table without watching it like a hawk.

Tom has conducted scientific testing and it's rather pointless to argue with these results.

Not a very good reason to short. Don't think that Intel hasn't conducted testing too. The Pentium IV will be optimized for RDRAM and it will run faster....>>
