Excerpted from todays release.

"Today, Birch Mountain is best characterized as a materials technology company that holds the mineral rights to a large land position. Birch Mountain will continue to focus its efforts on developing new technology and as a result, the asset base continues to diversify and the Company’s value may increasingly reside in its intellectual property."

Perhaps someone could explain this to me. Every time I've asked the Company about whether we would give up our proprietary technology with this third party verification, I get a NO! How can that be?

I also have read the 15 June P/R release in detail and find the reasons for the halt very disconcerting especially when based on the P/R of today. It's like splitting nanos and that's very difficult to measure.
