No comparison between JDSU and VRTS additions to the S and P 500.
VRTS was added after it was about to buyback its shares owned by Seagate when it planned to go private. S and P announced its addition on the same day as this bad news.

In addition, VRTS was a S and P midcap 400 company and those managers were dumping it as it was removed from the midcap.

JDSU is similiar to BRCM as both are not Mid cap 400 members. That is why BRCM ran up. That is what I have noticed about their additions. Non-mid cap 400 stocks tend to have big runups while mid-caps tend to go up about 10%. I posted this about a couple of weeks ago.

Looks great for the coming days.
