Doug, re: The estimates of 1.14 were for UNTAXED earnings.... so the analyst's consensus under 20% tax was... $0.91 Get it? AMD guided the analyst to a 0% tax rate. Wrong. It counts, just as it would count if they had missed on any other guidance. Are you saying the analyst's didn't believe AMD's guidance, and on their own assumed a 20% tax rate? I've never heard anyone say "it was a "pre-tax" blow out quarter!" The money is gone, the feds have it, get it? John
