George, I think you "still" underestimate the protein c thing. You may think it prophetic, and it may or may not be, but IMO lilly still went thru a lot of trouble and DID single out bpi. Let me ask you this> do you see any OTHER prophetic patent apps with protein c in sepsis? Oh, I think lilly has been playing with bpi alright. They must have a keen eye on it. Xoma for its part has sure been playing everything down. "our laywers havent talked yet" or "I dont think this deal or that deal is very close". Well Jack sure faked me out 2 weeks or so before baxter. Didnt even drop a hint of something in the hopper. You think they gonna tell you? Remember this as a rule of thumb the quieter they are the closer they are. That said, seems like nuthin is going on over there right now. All IMO standard K.
