AMD reported $1.21 after tax and $1.51 pre-tax, vs analyst estimates of $1.14 pre tax. So they weren't 7 cents over the estimate they were 37 cents.

Thanks for clarifying the numbers. I took mine from a CNBC report. Should know better. :)

OT: Yes, AMD came iin with great numbers.

I am long AMD a few hundred shares. Now I wish I had loaded up more when it dropped on nervous selling this morning.
