It all depends on how the market feels about a stock. Sure every thing that happens to company be it internal or external, matter, but it's how those items form a consensus perception in the end the cause a stock to move. Right now they are going to feel good about it the S&P news but I bet you it will not take long for the weight of the merger to come back into the mix. Also, I know I'm looking over the horizon for the end of earning season and the annual sell off in sept/oct time frame, I'm sure others are or will soon too. Furthermore, what we are seeing now in the market is "Lets Book The Profit, and Go To The Beach" mentality, all this is going to hold down any run in JDSU/SDLI after the initial euphoria dies down like next week. IMHO. Greg
