They also didn't seem to find a problem getting MS to specifcally port windows 2000 to the powerpc. I think if you read that article all the reporting is somewhat 'suspect'. Additionally I'm surprised the reporter didn't call it a 1ghz Ford or something.

Now if they had said Athlon, you would have said that 'boy that Athlon sure has great performance', so as usual you take advantage of the easy opportunity to add something totally irrelevant to the discussion.

Paul,

Perhaps Moto should start PR rating their CPU's. It worked really well for Cyrix, and would provide Apple an offical vehicle for whining about lousy x86 performance.

I've heard that Pentiums run MacOS very poorly, in fact they won't even fit into the G4 socket.
