So far, I've not received any of the e-mails with viruses attached. Part of the reason for that is not too many people have my e-mail address. And I don't use the MSFT product. (I use Netscape.) But thanks for the heads-up.

i see you're using nav, but for others who do not have antivirus software (that's so hard to imagine!), symantec (maker of norton) has a 'try before you buy' trialware offer for its software...
