No offense, but you are putting words in my mouth. I never said Intel was managing stupidly. I would not have continued to hold Intel through the years if I thought that. I did say that it is rare for any company to do 2 or more separate businesses very well. While I agree with you that there are a lot of things I don't understand behind the accounts, I think that even considering "cross benefits and costs", the side businesses are losing tons of money. I am simply asking fair and reasonable questions about those businesses.
