Sunspot, as the resident Intel bigot (no there are more here), I have to say that Intel's brand is now up there with Coke as best known, at least in the US. Their Intel Inside campaign jingle, going on about 5 years, doesn't play on practically every PC commercial on TV for nothing.

Most people I know buy Nokia phones because it's Nokia. I always order the new models without asking for features, price, size etc.

Sounds a little too brand-faithful to me.

Even though I don't agree about Nokia vs. Intel brand notoriety, appreciate the comments.
