<Globalstar's growth shows acceleration in weekly MOU from April to July from 30,000 to 118,000. At this rate Globalstar will be at 10 Billion MOU's per year by Q1 2002.>

I think that you are living in fantasyland if you think that G* will continue its percentage growth rate over more than another quarter or two. The primary reason, imo, for G*'s percentage growth is that the original numbers sucked. By this logic, we should have hoped for even worse Q1 numbers.

<Developing countries like China and Mexico need Globalstar to meet their telephone communication mandated by their governments as we learned in the CC. >

These countries don't "need" G*. As people prejudiced towards G*, we all see that G* is probably the best answer. But these countries don't always make the best logical decisions. Greed and corruption play a huge role. Government mandates tend to go by the wayside as well. Don't bet the farm that G* will secure anything with these governments anytime soon. In the cc, Navarro said that G* is putting together numerous proposals for Mexico. Seems like any contract is a long way off and actually putting the phones into service even further.

Bottom line, G* has great promise, but it's a loooooooooong way off and, unlike many businesses with promise and potential, G*'s debt time bomb continues to tick (and cost G* millions of dollars).

Wow, talk about spin. You get the golden hockey stick award for most absurdly optimistic projection.
