Folks, forget about the news stories. I just can't see Korea or China embracing NTT's DS CDMA, and thus placeing thimselves under Japan's thumb when they have the option to controll their own destiny with MC CDMA. This is for a thousand reasons both historic and cultural. This is so clear to me and yet no one seems to see it. Can no one else see through this fog -- perhaps I am a little crazy - but I don't think so. They ane merely negotiating with NTT, encouraging NTT, absorbing NTT's time and money. In the end, nothing much will come of it. This is the Asian way.

It just goes to show the superiority of $2 page points versus a $.29 yellow highlighter <gg>.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you on this one UF.

My 5 year old daughter got her hands on a pink highlighter yesterday and thought it would be fun to color her hand and leg to pretend she was bleeding. Only problem was, she was sitting on Grandpa's newly cream color with texture carpeted floor and she felt that it would add to the drama if some of the 'blood' dripped on the carpet as well. Hence, I think there is quite a bit of 'value' that lies within a .29 cent highlighter at the moment. <ggg>

Eric,

$2 page points versus a $.29 yellow highlighter

I admit that the price differential is far greater.

I never bothered with page points on TRFM. Imagine how my net worth would increase if I weren't so lazy about that.
