I agree, VERY diplomatic. Haines game him EVERY opportunity to say how they were taking share from Intel, and the man refused. Class act, and the opposite of Mr. Sanders.

By the way, Haines has disclosed on several occasions that he owns AMAT. So I think his questions about capx have more meaning than just casual interest <g>.

I recollect that Mark Hanes is an investor in AMAT - I recall him stating that disclaimer whenever he interviews Jim Morgan from Applied.

Thus, Mark's interest in Semiconductor Capital equipment expenditures !
