Well GPC didn't miss earnings but the sales growth in auto part (NAPA) business was very anemic with 3% growth.
All considered, FMO earnings were quite reasonable but the debt keeps on rising. I wouldn't touch this one.
I wonder how deep GM stock would have fallen, if they had earnings as bad as IBM.Growth is virtually nonexistent,debt keeps on rising but the next quarter will be better of course <G>.
The baby bells have been very weak lately, especially Versizon has hit the rocks. I though they were a bargain at 51$ and now they are at 44$. I think they are a very good conservative investment right now.
