Congrats to the Sandisk management and employees on a terrific quarter. It seems the only thing chaining this New Paradigm Gorilla down is supply constraints.

However, once supply starts to catch up, as Dominion and other flash suppliers crank up production, this Gorilla is going to snap those chains like they were Twizzlers and rampage all over the consumer and professional electronics marketplaces like a deranged thundermonkey on Acid. The appplications for flash storage are just beginning to emerge. We are witnessing a Paradigm shift away from mechanical disk drives and large desktop boxes to small portable devices that need solid state low battery power solutions. Mechanical disks like IBM Microdrive, Iomega Clik, and Dataplay will never be anything more than extreme niche players with very limited numbers of users.

The only problem I see is that now Wall Street is going to expect 50% Upside Earnings suprises going forward. Next biggie...3 months away from a possible Lexar court decision (I think)...

"While solid state memory chips are small, run noiselessly and are reliable, they are also expensive and appear to be growing more so as demand begins to outstrip supply, manufacturers say. "
