Kash,

I have the feeling Intel may be readying a major acquisition.

Maybe they will buy Rambus, and drive the stock price up- thereby making a killing off the stock and simultaneously ending the Rambus nightmare?

kash, re:<Well remember they are getting 40-50M shares of rambus at year end valued at $5bn or so.>

The number thats been bandied about is 1/10 of that, a measly 500 million.

So that won't begin to erase the $3.3 billion drop in Intel's portfolio.
