<<You hear everybody claim about expanding their future machine, but in practice, not many people do it, even less need it! >>

Especially for corporate users. I know many corporations LEASE their machines and we feel it is a waste to upgrade a machine we will send back on lease.

No one ever wants to waste IT manpower pulling memory our of outdated machine that they cannot use.

Expandable towers Mac and PC in the corporate world are not practicle. Unless you bought your machines and can talk your departmental managers that using that old 6100 with a G3 upgrade card (or old 486/66 with a 150Mhz overdrive chip) will keep them working efficiently.

The average corporate life of a computer these is 2 years, but leasing companies will not set a contract for less than 3.
