What good does Barrick's report do for the shareholders? The stock is still down, still doing nothing.

I have no ABX or any other gold stock at this time.

The only ones crying there eyes out are the long term investors in this stock. As we speak, 17.06, which certifies this stock as a true dog.
In all probability barrick will remain a dog because as you said, they have plenty of ounces to bring to market. Investors are aware that not only will those ounces be brought to market, but that they will hit the market before they are mined thru a forward sale. Presto, gold remains in the toilet, and investors continue to avoid the producers that have a shot gun aimed at the pocket of potential investors.
