Gus, JC and JDN, thanks for the detail on Ruettgers' words. That's great, but I'd rather he let the numbers do the talking more than slam the competition. Them's locker room bulletin board words.

IBM's RS6000 series, which they just refreshed with new products, is up 30%, and their Netfinity (Intel based) line is doing well. Their AS400 and S390 mainframes were down in sales. The RS series is the one that goes after Sun the most. Like you say, EMC can clean up on any server type with their multi-vendor capability.
