A video recording of the incident, considered by shark experts to be unique, shows a second shark also lining up to attack 15-year-old Shannon Ainslie, a surfer from East London. Ainslie was surfing with his brother and friends on Monday when he came face to face with one of the world's most ferocious killers. ``I was just catching a wave when the shark came up and made a grab for me. Next thing I knew I was under water and came face to face with the shark,'' he told Reuters. ``I looked straight into its eyes and thought I was dreaming.'' Ainslie escaped with a severely injured right hand, almost losing a middle finger that hung by just a thread. ``I was in a state of shock and just prayed to God to let me live,'' he said.

claptonsguitar: OT Well it is a lonely battle. One I have waged with these thugs for quit some time now. They have been insulting me relentlessly since I excluded them from the original MDD thread about two months ago or so. They don't seem to understand why they were excluded...LOL! Maybe one of these days the rest of the neighborhood will get tired enough of these thugs and pitch in. Likely, by that time I will be gone. This is my last battle with them as I am waving farewell to SI. I have grown tired of these kinds of bozos on SI. SI Admin seems content to allow these bands of thugs, clustered in their own little thread or roaming from thread to thread...it seems to be ok either way. Go figure... This battle will last only as long as they want it too...then I am gone...<g> Regards, LG
