Re: Similar forward PE as AMD so I thought I would diversify a bit by adding some NSM.

PT- To use the mining analogy, NSM is known as the "canary". When the SOX tops, NSM is the first to go. It needs to stay above $50 to avoid falling below its 200 day moving average (closed down $5 to $45 today).

OTOH, a few days ago there was a sale of 4400 August 65 puts for over $7 million. Obviously, someone big thinks it will be moving up over the next month.

SSB really f*cked the SOX. Someone had to break the ice.

Chic's response is better than mine. :) I owned NSM because I had a lot of Cyrix, and consider his evaluation to be an apt description of the stock and the "irrational market."

I usually only lurk, in order to learn from you and the others here, with more knowledge. I've found the AMD, SNDK, and a few other threads have been very helpful, and USUALLY profitable. :)
