They are thinking that there is more to broadband than sub fees (revenues from ecommerce and ads. That is why excite is important to the future of @home. This free DSL may go TU, I hope it does. IMO, in the future, revenue from the XCIT portion of the company with generate most of the revenue (it may do so already). As ATHM subs numbers go up, the more revenue they will generate from ecommerce and ads, the amount they can charge for ads will increase.
