FTL and time travel has been proven in the laboratory I'm not sure if you are serious, so if you read the fine print you will notice that what they did was cause a wave front (peak of the wave) to move faster than the wave. This is a common phenomina. The peak of a wave can move sidewase to a beach much faster than the water itself is moving. Well they proved that the same thing is true with a light wave peak. The light itself did not move faster than C. TP
