Ike: I see that this thread is not about individual stocks -- perhaps the more general point is that there is a serious divergence between plat/pall stocks and the metals themselves. The outlook for the white metals is for very strong demand and very tight supply. I have believed for some time that the squeeze in the plat/pall market will eventually spill over into gold, which is believed to be (rightly or wrongly -- and I think wrongly) in substantial oversupply.
