Lately, my timing has been impeccable, on the wrong side. I started using stop loss for the first time on AOL, BVSN, IFCI and JDSU and sold all of them after holding them for months (>12 on AOL and JDSU). AOL and BVSN go up 2 and 4 points each today.

Just a couple of hours after selling JDSU yesterday, they come up with this S&P 500 announcement and it goes up by 21 points today. I was going to get back in today after seeing it sank to 106 last night at the close. At least my timing to do some thing with my picks is right, now if only I can tweak it to coincide with buying high and selling low. Sigh!

So, I handled the situation like any other red blooded, naturalized American citizen would do, beat up the wife and kids.

I got a little spanking Tuesday bro...you're not alone. Just gotta keep at it. You work for months to build your accounts, then in 2 or 3 days, the bastards take it all back sometimes. Just watch that margin.

Re: ACCD...I've been thru the prospectus, and the only thing that really caught my eye negatively, was that they had a patent infringement judgement against them for an amount of 6 million dollars, but they have ample capital to cover it, and I suspect they have already paid it now. Otherwise, the technology looks good, the product looks good, they have just acheived profitability, and they have had excellent sales growth. Overall, it looks like a pretty decent bet. Did you know that you can have up to 12 people on your screen with their equipment? Does anybody else have anything like that? Remember...e-learning, distance learning, video conferencing...all gonna probably be huge, and they provide some pretty decent equipment for this task.

All opinions welcome.

Hey We've all been there, You are very good at QP plays. I don't count paper gains or losses until I bank them. As Greg has often said IPO's are stacked against us retail buyers, I do best either trading stocks I know well or bottom fishing now. There is a good crew here, just need to put our heads together and share our DD. It blows me away when traders buy a stock up over 100% the first day because it is near LOD.
