Jorj and you really honestly belive in the trickle down effect <GGGGGGGGG> smell the roses it is pure PUMP the Stock nothing else no economic justification.

..... as to telecom there IS a slowdown!!!!!!...... and BTW I am also in the industry on the financing side

Actually, one of the guests on CNBC said as much that they use advertising to promote ownership of stock. All those reasons are viable to some degree in each ad campaign, as well as to attract potential employees and to foster a positive corporate image (as Microsoft learned late).

and if telecom is not growing fast enough...why JDSU,NT,LU,CSCO,MRVC,JNPR,RBAK,SCMR....
and many others fiber optic,routers companies are growing so fast ?
Sure,you have to upgrade the equipment from time to time...
but as an example....if UUNET will not buy all the equipment from above companies.....they are dead.
Who is the customer for all this high flyers with p/e range from 50-5000...
