Amen and well put. Have you sent your ideas to the SEC? There's a movement afoot to try and bring change. Your comments would help IMO.

Yes, I have. If it happens at all, it will happen very, very slowly...should I live so long. Too much money at stake. If you research the after-life of many SEC workers/officials..over many decades...you will find them in bed with the brokerages..happily drawing their compensation.
After three years of SEC begging, and MANY deadlines.. MAYBE we will have decimalization. 'Trials' to start soon.
