Pat, Funny you should mention Lucent. I bought it today around 52. Don't really know if I should have as it is not my style to buy beaten up stocks.
I prefer the companies that compete with LU but are firing on all cylinders such as Nortel.

Actually, I am looking at a bunch of companies that are getting hit on pretty good numbers. Further downside is usually limited in the event of a down market but these have to be "sell on the news" stories and not blowups like Lucent.

One example is PMCS (there are many)--As soon as they announce a stock split, the momentum should turn and the stock will start running up.
BTW--great notes on the SDLI conference call. Very bullish comments by management. Thanks for all your efforts.
