i wan't to clarify that statement, that the two periods are completely dissimilar.

in 1987 the US was not the only world superpower, in 2000 the US is, so the ball is in our court, until we frig it up, i go long when the consensus is bearish and i go short when the consensus is bullish.

all kinds of bearish looking shite in the BTK. HGSI is a load of carp anyway. INCY looking OK and VRTX clearly fell out of the up trend trying to build a base, but close to breaking down. I lightened up there. BGEN actually building quite a nice base.

I think you got TSTN wrong but it's a crap-shoot. That rounded top sure could turn into a waterfall sell-off. (no position)
