Hi Rose: Good point. Depends on investment objective, risk, time horizon, etc., of course. My points were geared primarily towards option positions. But, your plan seems good. I like the idea that you have a plan ready to execute. You have obviously been thinking. You're prepared. Super.

Have you thought of writing covered calls against your shares instead of selling the shares? ( Do you have options-writing privileges? I can't remember)

I have ALWAYS regretted trying to time the market WRT trading the shares.
