Noticed Hypermart now has a search section for member sites! That is LONG overdue! Just type in a key word like "bike" and viola...all Hypermart member sites associated with bike! Finally! Now that is a major upgrade to that site! How a little thing like that helps functionality!

Go2net's earnings are truly amazing when compared to Lycos! Lycos Last quarter reported operating income of $6.2 Million on $78 Million in Revenue! Operating Margins of 8%! Go2net outpaced Lycos with operating income of $6.7 Million on $23 Million in Revenue! Operating Margins of 29%! Very Yahoo like! If this doesn't differentiate their business model I don't know what will! This is simple - Go2net has a better profit model - That is clear... the question is can they compete in terms of long term VOLUME of business... On a non-financial note here! What is key for Go2net is the success in finding other distribution outlets for their services! Mr. Allen must put together more ( international ) deals similar to the RCN deal in order for Go2net to succeed! Best of Luck to All!
