I empathize with every one who has invested savings and
retirement monies in this "once" great company. The legacy
of McGinn, Management and the Board of Directors will be
a classical study of how a company with incomparable assets
failed. They should spin off the balance of their other
assets incl. Bell Labs and Optics etc.

AS, That could be, but the support in the 50 range before might have been in place to because LU promised a return to growth after the debacle in January. I dumped early yesterday in the mid to high 50's (some in the premarket) under the assumption this support may be lowerd now that the company is showing 0 growth for the past year. I do agree that when the ME group is spun 100% that there is likely to be an upside, but as I illustrated with the STLW/METHA deal, that might not be realized until ME is completely separated.

Do you think that LU will exceed 57 anytime soon?

thanks, tp
