UBS Warburg upgrades WSTL from Buy to Strong Buy and $54 target.

"We are upgrading Westell from Buy to Strong Buy based on our belief that we will see further upward revisions to consensus EPS estimates in the next couple of quarters. In addition, Westell will over the next six months move upmarket with its CPE line. Today over 80% of modems are made by three contract manufacturers, and over time we see the possibility of a pure DSL spinoff, which could unlock value. An IPO for ConferencePlus would also likey unlock value. Our one-year $54 target is based on 40x our fully taxed CY02 EPS estimate of $1.34."
