Mike --

I finally got around to voting for the prestigious <g> Silicon Investor Choice Awards. Anyhow, I was amazed to find myself voting for you for (i) Most Valuable Poster, (ii) Best prediction (that actually happened) [you had so many here I couldn't even give a count!], AND (iii) Funniest poster [you narrowly beat out MR. PANAMA for my vote! LOL]

Just goes to show how valuable you are to SI. Thank you again for so generously sharing your knowledge and analysis. I for one believe that this is hands down the best thread on SI. No contest, really.

Regards,

Robert

Thanks, Michael. I'll take a chance on a third at 10 (that's the beauty of thirds, isn't it?)

On another note, do you think there's any significance in this proliferation of bear stories in the news recently? <g>

Michael and all,

Just to show that not only momentum players can get creamed. I just got whacked by WAC. It's sort of tough when an apparel company decides to lower it's yearly earnings estimate, by, oh, 80% or so without any other guidance.

Leon Cooperman owns 7% of Warnaco and methinks that even her handpicked board is going to be under a lot of pressure to de-Leslie this sucker.

I did get in at 5-1/2, so it could have been worse, but even low-priced stocks have a way of working lower.
