Stock price will have a heck of a time recovering if it doesn't have a great quarter to report. If it's so-so or worse yet, flat or slightly worse than expected, I see it selling in the 13-14 range before someone buys it in the 30-40 range. If revenues are around 50% and earnings are around 17, well, then it will probably hang in the upper teens as it has and be bought soon by someone at 45-50 range. If it's a great quarter (better than -.13 and revenues 60%+), then I see it working up to the 30's by the end of this quarter, perhaps sooner if the analysis meetings go well, the road show continues to show effect, etc... I truly see this stock as needing a trigger, just like it got Harmon and that one analysis came on board the end of the year, then we traded in the 45-60 range until the SPO/Market fiasco (yes, I thought it was a buy at 45 when I bought more at the SPO). But even there it was really hedging, just couldn't get above 60 because of poor PR (in my opinion) and unfortunately you could have daytraded it between 50-58 range and made a killing. Because the analysis recommendations stopped, momentum ended, and just didn't have the exposure that it needed. Also the Harmon hype hurt it when most of Harmon's picks started to tank. Dragged it down eventually with the rest of the "internet" stocks. I still think they should consider changing the name, but that's a dead topic I guess. But after that trigger it needs the company to continue to address stock price and continue the momentum. They need to realize that it's time to dedicate a portion of their resources to share price. They have started with the addition of PR people, now let's see how they continue to handle it. Oh, and it IS always possible no acquisition occurs (although someone AGAIN would be missing the boat on this one) and it just languishes in the 20's for years. 2 years from now we'll be talking about how NETP is making $2/share and selling at 10 times earnings! Anything's possible... Any opinions out there, you agree, disagree? PS, I'd prefer these comments stay on the SI board.
