According to some physicists there are at least three ways to accomplish time travel that do not violate any of the laws of physics as we understand them to be. We just don't have the technology to build them yet.

The most interesting concept is a mile long cylinder with mass as dense as a white dwarf star that is rotated up to a speed of 1/2 c.
