Carl B.,

Between these presentations and some of those media reports Don Green's been posting lately I am ready to declare you the winner and divide the loot:

silicontech.com

I most recommend the presentations by the JDEC guys particularly the second one on DDR-II. I know it will be tough on some here, but an unbiased ear to their explanations of exactly what they do and why, as well as the nature of the questions taken make it exceedingly clear exactly why DRDRAM is Dead, Dead, Dead. Despite the claims of some presenters that the chip has a niche in the high end workstation market to be served, I simply can't see it generating the kind of market demand necessary to survive.
By this time next year I expect RMBS to either be a pure litigation arbitrage play; or licensing its SDRAM/DDR IP at much reduced royalties under some settlement arrangement.

It requires the RealPlayer Plus plugin to get the sound and charts but its worth the time to listen.
