Did NY Stew cough up the goods, and bless you with a free lifetime SI membership? :o) Welcome, the invite alone says a lot. It really is a benefit to collectively have in one location the opinions of savvy individual investors. Institutions have a habit of manufacturing opinions that suit their purpose, individuals can provide the most honest and sincere feedback. Nice to have you on board. Picked up my Sunday newspaper, turned to the business section, there I found an nice article on Gemstar's future fortunes in the Interactive TV market. Story was an Associated Press article, authored by Gary Gentile. Dicusses merger, synergies, royalties, patents, etc. (things we already know). Link for newspaper lazy folks of the thread :o) herald-ang.com Technically near a top, going to have a re-group for a breather I think. No worries, buy more on the dipster is the proper course of action. Nasdaq can't party forever, I suspect this go round, institutions will seek GMST instead of fleeing, since the uncertainty in the merger has been fully removed (including the scrutity of two senators).
