Jozef, actually the Ace's blurb notes a 750-based socket-A mobo from Gigabyte shown at Akiba.

Check it out.

And the 'photo' from the show of the Socket-A chipset/mobo datasheet:

Joe,

re:"that's a "glass is half empty" view of events, but largely I agree, especially on lack of any news on progress of AMD chipsets, which killed the potentially great quarter.

I am also concerned about the lack of any leaks about upcoming motherboards including 760 chipsets"

I guess thats true - i am not so impressed by AMD's management.

Strategically their whole duron intro has been a fiasco.
Their ineptitude on MB's and chipsets has worried me for close to a year now and i see further problems.
And their incompetence at getting SMP, DDR support is again apalling.

The good thing is demand is great, margins are great, yields are great.

SO stock price should keep going up in spite of poor management.

However the blind cheerleading of the AMD longs does worry me and i was trying to put the glass is half empty view out.

regards,

Kash Johal
