Good Point and Good question.

Perhaps Unclewest can shed some light on this.

I'm hoping that Monday provides us with some lift.
We are getting a little too close to completing a head and shoulder formation.

I don't intend to sell. It's just not fun to watch or ride...

Perhaps I'll add to my position on any dip.

We sure could use a split to help us.

Good Luck.

On a separate note, I am reviewing last quarter's 10-Q filing. I am curious about the purchase of 250,000 shares of MVIS on April 13 at $50 per share.

hi raymond,
the deal was announced on march 20th...mvis was trading in the mid 60s at that time. cree negotiated the shares at approx 30% discount to the then trading price.

as part of the deal, mvis is paying cree $10 million for R&D.

the implication to me was, mvis needed more work done..
cree knows they can do it..
mvis needed cash..
cree bought part of mvis because they know what is going to happen..
mvis can now pay cree.

the general electric pension fund also invested at the same time and price. that was a huge boost of confidence in the entire deal to me.

it looked like quite the deal at the time...cree knows what mvis is doing, so does ge...and general electric knows their lights.

i wondered if the mvis price increase was accumulation on a possible ge buyout....if i am right, the dip would have been caused by the selling of those shares when the deal became an investment and not a buyout.

the cree press archive has more details...
