I haven't looked at either METHA/STLW or ETN/AXCL. Don't even know what they are, but will take a look when I have time. LU's spin offs are just promises right now and apparently at least a year away. I did look closely at the T/AWE tracking stock but decided it was mainly a way for T to bring in some much needed cash.

Based on a preliminary once over, looks to me like the QCOM/Spinco IPO/spin off could be a big money maker, particularly if you get in early while QCOM is still cheap, like in the $60's.
