I also find it very bizarre to see this happen at the end of the day. I suspect there is some hanky panky going on. I hope the SEC is monitoring these threads. If they are, I think there is a possibility of manipulation going on here.

The trade at $28 was just before 6:00 p.m. EST. I have been told (but have not confirmed) that it was a 500 share trade. It was a little late for folks to exercise 27.5 calls. In any event, I suspect that anyone who wanted to pay $27.5 when it "really" closed at just above $26 probably deserves what they get -- nothing. About the same is true for the guy who paid $28.

Frankly, I hope is drops like a rock Monday a.m. so I can pick some up below $26.

All the capacitor producers have moved in lock step. See the following chart which shows how VSH, AVX and KEM moved.
