Of course it's the nodes or the local loop. That's mostly what this thread has discussed over the last three years, but when price is falling, emotions take over, everything material is forgotten, and some obscurity is marched out front and center so that fear may be served.

Humans are convinced that all things are caused by human wrongdoing. This is the premise under modern law. The purpose of law is to create a victim so that punishment may be served.
