hi mitch, i have a copy of it, sitting here unopened in the box... just waiting for some compatibility issues to get resolved, i guess. i know that there are some true believers here who can give you their insights. also, i recall some who have had fits and wanted to know how to uninstall. i suggest you do a search, 'this subject only', for win2000, w2k, and like that. also, here's a good pcworld mag article i found most informative... #reply-13941001 good luck :) mark

chapin...I run 2K pro on one of my systems. Decided to try it out after being unhappy with the beta of win Mill. Had install problems as bad as they get. Could not believe what happened............................finally got it loaded and voila, it becomes the most incredible o/s you could ask for, the damn thing doesn't crash. In 2 weeks of trading I had NO crashes.I mentioned before that I tested it with multi-screens...i.e. live charts, L2 and streamers, to see what would crash it.... Nothing did not even datek <g>. If you trade you will wonder what you were doing without it. I will put win 2K on all my systems I don't care about the compatability problems with any software. If something doesn't work (like my visioneer scanner) I will put it on a subordinate system. As an aside I would like to mention that I do not like softie or their absurd methods of selling software that are works in progress. Win 2K pro however,will save any online trader serious money some where down the proverbial road. chapin, I hope this helps, IMO win98++++whatever is like a broken down yugo compared to 2K. regards B Denney
