Any guesses where the bottom is likely to be? I want to buy in but will wait for some sign that a bottom is at hand.

I bought at 19 and change few days before earnings and
lost. The biggest two day loser for me so far.
Don't ask me about timing stocks. <G>

They seem to be on track with their expected loss rate with expected profitability in 2001 but looks like Wall Street folks want accelerated returns or they dump stocks. That is a macro level phenomenon that I seem to notice...so I am not sure any specific fundamentals being good/bad for Mediaplex will affect that kind of short term buy or dump tendencies.

The do seem to have some good technology, patents etc. They have some kind of deal with EBay that was mentioned in the conference call but not formally announced ...dumb in my opinion..their PR department should have had some press releases but maybe not all the i's are dotted and they may not be ready to announce it yet.

I would think the bottom should be about now for the short term. However with the NASDAQ 100 stars shooting way too high, if they crash (if Greenspan raise rates in August), then all bets are of. As a company with negative earnigs they will get hit too by risk averse folks fleeing to safety.

That is my outlook. But then I am often wrong in attempts to predict short term events. Having lost a lot, I am wishing them down into single digits so I can buy more to get my average price down <G>
