Lets see:
QCOM
at $63 is trading at 46 X next year est. earnings.
SEBL
at $158 is trading at 138 X next year est. earings
NTAP
at $109 is tarding at 215 X next years est. earnings
BRCM
at $229 is trading at 203 X next year est. earnings
PMCS
at $207 is tarding at 154 X next year est. earnings

I dont know about you, but my money is on QCOM to outperform not only these 5 which are great company's but alot of others. Just my opinion of course. Good Luck!

Yes, Broadcom is one of my hopefully 'live money' favorites as well. In fact, it's in my ten stocks for a decade ideal portfolio as young, handsome King. However, Qualcomm is in the ten stocks for a decade as well in the position as a Gorilla to own. I've got a decade to wait it all out and see if Qualcomm equals 'dead money' or if it comes to full fruition. Based on my previous 15 - 20 years investing experience, I'm not convinced in my taxable account that trading in and out of chasing 'live' money is a strategy that will net me the best long term returns.

Well, Bruce threw down the gauntlet, and DlphcOracl gallantly picked it up. And in the spirit of a little fun, I took the next logical step. I set up a portfolio so we can track the results. Will Sebl, Ntap, Brcm and Pmcs outperform Qcom thereby validating the prediction of DlphcOracl or will the mighty Q rise from its ashes and prove victorious. The attached portfolio today has a value of exactly ZERO. It was formed by taking a hypothetical investment of $25,000 each in Sebl, Ntap, Brcm and Pmcs and then balancing them with an offsetting $100,000 short position in Qcom.

Therefore if Sebl, Ntap, Brcm and Pmcs outperform the portfolio will sport a positive value, while if Qcom performs best the port will turn negative.

The portfolio has been named "DlphcOracl's Challenge" and it can be found here:
