This is not the problem with the stock price, IMO. Although it has been mentioned in passing a few times here, the real problem is: Q1 sales 1.09 billion. Q2 sales 1.17 billion. Not real impressive. One of the lasting legacies of the whole .com thing is that topline growth is more important now than it was a few years back.
I don't care if it was Q2, the slowest quarter. Fact is, AMD has been touted as an extremely fast growing company, and the sales growth was anemic.
BTW, who won the day-after-earnings-close contest? I have been gone for a couple days, and didn't get the results.
